On one of the last evenings of summer, I managed to catch these sailboats just as the sun was setting on Shelter Island. The painting is going to be raffled off on December 11th as part of a fundraiser for the East Hampton School District. I love it when my paintings help support important causes and hope this one pulls in some serious cash!
